The U.S. was aware of the threat of an alien invasion: the truth that has been concealed for decades has now been revealed.
In the mid-20th century, Americans were genuinely concerned about an alien invasion.
UFO researchers from the Disclosure Party have released declassified CIA documents that lead to shocking conclusions:
Firstly, the U.S. government was aware that aliens were behind UFOs – that is, representatives of an extraterrestrial civilization that had infiltrated Earth. Secondly, it seriously considered the possibility that aliens might launch a large-scale invasion, but this was never publicly acknowledged.

Thirdly, American authorities intentionally obscured the truth, hiding it from the public.
Admiral Henry Hillenkoetter, the first director of the CIA, stated their awareness of the situation.
The 58-page documents presented to the public were obtained by enthusiasts in Australia from a local archive (National Archives of Australia). They date back to the mid-20th century when American and Australian researchers jointly studied UFOs at the behest of their intelligence agencies.

On one of the pages of the "Australian documents," it is stated clearly that a certain technical intelligence center (Air Technical Intelligence Center - ATIK) initially believed UFOs to be Soviet devices but later concluded that they were extraterrestrial. They attempted to clarify the armament of these objects.

Interestingly, it is probably no coincidence that in 1985, then-American President Ronald Reagan told Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev that he was "confident in the cooperation of the two superpowers in the event of an alien invasion threatening Earth." Perhaps he knew something?
The belief that aliens were about to attack Earth – primarily the U.S., and then Australia – emerged in the summer of 1952 after the number of UFO sighting reports increased twenty-fold. The subsequent study of registered cases showed that the objects did not appear to be of earthly origin. In terms of maneuverability and speed, they far surpassed the most advanced American aircraft.
At that time, the Pentagon was already working independently on Project Blue Book. The project was initiated due to sightings in 1947. Initially, businessman and pilot Kenneth Arnold reported seeing nine swift objects in the sky over the Cascade Mountains (USA). He referred to them as "flying saucers." They flew in a chain at an astonishing speed for that time – around 2,000 kilometers per hour. Soon, similar objects were reported flying over a secret airbase in California. Military personnel witnessed this.
In a secret letter, Lieutenant General Nathan Twining, head of the U.S. Air Force Material Command, noted: "The objects were real... they probably have a disc shape, and their visible dimensions make them appear as large as man-made aircraft... reports on their operational characteristics, such as extreme ascent angles and maneuverability... generate confidence that some of the objects are controlled manually, automatically, or remotely."

Project Blue Book was officially closed in 1969. However, for much of the time – starting from 1948 – its leaders and managers, who were among the American military, were focused on "shaping public opinion." They likely misled the public; their activities served as a kind of facade. Serious research was probably conducted by others elsewhere.

According to official data, over 22 years, 12,618 UFO sightings were recorded through "Blue Book." Almost all were "identified" as weather balloons, flocks of birds, atmospheric phenomena, or light from Venus or bright stars. However, 5.5 percent of the cases remained unexplained – meaning they turned out to be something truly inexplicable.
Unofficial data suggests that the actual percentage of unexplained cases is over one-third.
At one time, individuals involved in investigations were intimidated: they were threatened with ten years in prison and fines of $10,000 for disclosing "classified information." The truth – it must be understood – is still not known to us.
Recently, a photo from the Blue Book files, some of which were declassified by the Americans themselves, surfaced online.
The photo shows a large cylinder – a mothership, according to ufologists. It was captured by an anonymous author over New York on March 20, 1950. In the frame, next to the ship, ten much smaller objects that it released were also captured.
The previously secret photo possibly indicates that aliens were indeed preparing to invade. It also supports the conclusion from a report prepared two years ago by the former "chief ufologist of the Pentagon," Dr. Sean M. Kirkpatrick, and Harvard astrophysicist Professor Abraham Loeb: "There is a possibility that extraterrestrial motherships and smaller probes may be visiting the planets of the Solar System."

Currently, there is again a frenzy in the U.S. – UFOs are flying around there as if at home. Congress is holding one hearing after another. So-called whistleblowers (again from the military) confidently assert that aliens are present on Earth and that their crafts have been captured.
This raises the question: are "officials" still hiding the truth? It's possible. One thing is troubling: if aliens are already nearby, what is the purpose of the efforts by scientists from various countries searching for any life in the universe? They are ready to send expeditions even for bacteria or their remnants to Mars, spending billions trying to capture signals from extraterrestrial civilizations. They are broadcasting in various directions. Something doesn't add up.

Recently, UFOs in the shape of cylinders have been spotted in various parts of the world
In June of last year, witnesses captured two "cylinders" – one near the airport in Belgrade, and the other in the American state of Montana. Both were also on their way to the airport. These cases were reported by the tech startup Enigma Labs, which is compiling a database on UFOs.
The cylinders glowed and moved across the sky, resembling Elon Musk's Starlink satellites, which have repeatedly confused observers. However, Musk's "cylinders" appeared from a distance as fragments of beads, and it was clear they consisted of separate "beads." The "cylinders" spotted recently were solid, representing some independent elongated objects.

A "cylinder" – somewhat thicker and with a bright spot – was captured on video by a certain Michelle Reyes. The object accidentally entered her frame as she was simply filming the surrounding landscape from the airplane window while approaching New York. The UFO swiftly flew past, moving towards the airliner.
Shortly earlier – in February 2024 – a "cylinder" was spotted by witnesses in the sky over Italy. The object, resembling a long macaroni (pardon the unintentional comparison), was hovering at a height.
