The Moon will obscure the Sun on March 29, 2025

The eclipse corridor will start on March 14. The show begins with a lunar eclipse on March 14, which will be visible in Chukotka and Kamchatka. Esoteric enthusiasts and astronomical tourism lovers are already snapping up tickets.
This term refers to the period when eclipses occur consecutively, one after another. Following the full moon on March 14 and the lunar eclipse, a new moon will arrive on March 29, bringing with it a solar eclipse.
It is worth noting that lunar eclipses only occur during a full moon, while solar eclipses happen only during a new moon.
Both eclipses, which is a rarity, will be visible from Russia. If the solar eclipse on March 29 can be seen in European Russia, for the lunar show, you’ll need to travel to the far east of the country.
The lunar eclipse will be observed precisely at the moment of the full moon. It can be seen without a telescope from all locations where the Moon is visible.
For specific locations, such as Moscow, it is not guaranteed that the Moon will be above the horizon at the moment of full moon. This will be the case on March 14: the full moon will occur at 9:55 AM, when the moonlight will be below the horizon in Moscow and throughout European Russia. Therefore, you'll need to travel to a location where the Moon can be seen!
Chukotka and Kamchatka will be such regions. By that time, evening will have already arrived, as explained by the Moscow Planetarium. The Moon will rise already darkened. The partial phase will begin at 8:09 AM Moscow time, the total phase will occur at 9:26 AM, and by 11:47 AM Moscow time, everything will be over, and this moment will be beautifully visible from Chukotka, Kamchatka, and the Magadan region.
Residents of these regions and those who decide to travel there will witness a mesmerizing spectacle. A red disc of the Moon will appear above the horizon, gradually brightening. The eclipse is expected to be dark, meaning the Moon will significantly dim its brightness. Such eclipses usually occur when there are many volcanic eruptions on Earth, as the ash clogs the atmosphere and makes the Earth's shadow dense. And there are quite a few eruptions happening right now.
With the naked eye, and especially through binoculars, you will notice that the Moon looks unusual. Here and there, little lights will be shining. These are geologically active, young areas: they seem to emit light received from the Sun and shine a little themselves. During a full moon, this glow is overwhelmed by the full sunlight, but during an eclipse, everything can be seen.
The Moon will glide over the stars, obscuring them with its disc. During a full moon, the light from the Moon prevents seeing the stars, but during an eclipse, the spectacle is revealed in all its glory.
As the shadow starts to recede, a gray stripe will appear on the disc. This is the edge of the Earth's shadow. You can see your own atmosphere as if it were translucent!
During the eclipse, the Moon will be located on the border of the constellations Leo and Virgo, as stated by the Moscow Planetarium.
Astrologers say that this corridor is very significant. Since 2023, pairs of eclipses have been falling on the signs of Aries and Libra, but now they will be in Pisces and Virgo. This marks a shift in the global era.
The time of the corridor is complex yet fascinating. The lunar eclipse serves to cleanse the karma of the previous time, while the solar eclipse begins a new era. However, between them lies a timeless period, a transitional two weeks, and those prone to fearing the unknown may be apprehensive about these two weeks. About a month before the start of the corridor, instability and turbulence begin, everything changes rapidly, and everything is shaky. This is how nature prepares for a reset, astrologers say.
Esoteric enthusiasts strive to personally witness the lunar eclipse that stands at the beginning of the corridor. They meditate on the Moon and absorb its energies (while astronomers take photographs because it is beautiful). During the corridor, astrologers advise against taking drastic actions, to reflect on one's achievements, and to try to grasp the spirit of the upcoming time to understand how to align with it.
