On the first day, medals were contested in the individual mogul event. The weather affected the schedule, preventing the final runs from taking place.
As a result, the standings were determined based on the outcomes of the women's final-1 and the men's qualifications.
The victory was awarded to Canadian athletes Mikael Kingsbury and Tessa Johnson. Considering this situation, the Kazakhstani competitors achieved the following positions in the Top 10: Anastasia Gorodko — 6th place, Yulia Galysheva — 7th place, Pavel Kolmakov — 5th place. Other Kazakhstani athletes did not make it into the top 10.
