The champions and prize winners of the competitions will receive the following awards: $10,000 for "gold," $5,000 for "silver," and $3,000 for "bronze," reports Sports.kz.
Coaches of the athletes will also be rewarded.
Gold medals were brought to Kazakhstan by freestylers Roman Ivanov and Sherzod Khashirbaev (synchronized jumps), biathlete Vladislav Kireev, the men's short track team, and the men's ice hockey team.
Silver medalists include speed skater Yevgeny Koshkin, skier Konstantin Bortsov, the women's cross-country skiing team, the mixed freestyle acrobatics team, the women's and mixed short track teams, and the women's ice hockey team, as well as biathlete Vadim Kuraless and the men's biathlon team.
Bronze medals at the Asian Games were earned by the women's speed skating team, figure skater Mikhail Shaidrov, skier Olzhas Klimin, the men's cross-country skiing team, freestyler Aiana Zholdas, the women's freestyle acrobatics team, and the women's biathlon team.
