The famous Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo has set a new achievement by scoring in the Asian Champions League, reports Caravan.kz.
In the latest round of the continental competition, Cristiano, playing for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, successfully converted a penalty against UAE's Al-Wasl in the first half, and then netted another goal from open play in the second half. The 39-year-old footballer is showcasing excellent form and continues to find the back of the net against rival teams.
With two goals against Al-Wasl, Ronaldo's career total now stands at 923 goals.
Al-Nassr continues its campaign in the Asian Champions League, having secured a spot in the playoffs ahead of time, which means Ronaldo will have the opportunity to add to his tally and move closer to the milestone of 1000 goals.
It was previously reported that Ronaldo does not intend to extend his contract with Al-Nassr and wishes to return to his former club, Real Madrid.
