Football reform is underway: Kazakhstan's championships will be held in a new format.

The Kazakhstan Football Federation (KFF) has announced significant news.
Футбольная реформа продолжается: чемпионаты Казахстана будут проводиться в новом формате.

In Kazakhstan, the organization system for the national football championship is undergoing reform, reports Caravan.kz.

The main news is that this season, the competition will be conducted not by the PFLK — QFL, but by the KFF itself.

The Federation announced that the primary goal of this decision is to establish order and foster productive collaboration among the Federation, leading clubs, and the football community, as well as to ensure transparency throughout the entire system.

“Disagreements between the KFF and sports managers of clubs often escalate into prolonged disputes or even conflicts. Decisions made by the Federation, such as lifting the limit on foreign players, inviting foreign specialists with questionable reputations, corruption in officiating, and a lack of transparency, are frequently criticized by the public. This strategic move will help resolve existing disagreements, restore trust in the sport, support the development of regional clubs, improve the quality of officiating, and provide equal conditions for all participants,” the statement reads.

Previously, we reported on another important news from the KFF — the termination of the contract with Russian specialist Stanislav Cherchesov.
