The Russian promoter Kamil Gadzhiev announced the withdrawal of his idea regarding a fight between the prominent Kazakh boxers Angelina Lukas and Balauza Muzdiman, as reported by Caravan.kz.
In an interview with "The MMA Herald," Gadzhiev stated that he was previously mistaken about the potential interest in a Lukas-Muzdiman fight in professional boxing.
“Two beautiful girls, fighting for the title of the best in Kazakhstan — sounds intriguing, as if it’s something new. I would have actually reacted to that. Plus, there could have been some tension between them. The reason I speak in the past tense is that it seems like that tension was never really captured. There was some initial buzz, but then everything calmed down, and I get the impression that this isn’t something Angelina and Balauza are particularly interested in. Because something was said by Kamil Gadzhiev, something was said by Angelina’s manager, Balauza’s manager… But Balauza and Angelina themselves haven’t said anything at all — zero. So if that’s the case, what’s the point?” — said Kamil Gadzhiev.
He confirmed that he has completely stopped pursuing this fight, realizing that it holds no interest for anyone.
