The police stated that an administrative protocol has already been drawn up against those responsible, as reported by IA "NewTimes.kz".

Footage of the brawl surfaced on social media. According to the public page golovoi_ob_led, the scandal erupted after the final whistle – the club coaches began to argue with each other. Subsequently, team staff became involved in the conflict. The cause of the altercation is being investigated.

The police confirmed that there are no reported injuries.

“On February 14 at around 21:00, an incident occurred in the 'Ice Palace' involving two 21-year-old hockey players, stemming from mutual misunderstandings that escalated into a conflict. Both athletes were taken to the police station, where administrative protocols for hooliganism were drawn up against them. The collected materials have been forwarded to court. There are no injuries,” – stated the press service of the Atyrau region police department.
