The "Beybaris" club, whose hockey players were actively involved in the incident, has broken its silence, reports Caravan.kz.
An official statement from the team's management has been published on their official page, asserting that tensions have settled.
“At this moment, the situation has completely normalized. All parties have drawn the necessary conclusions, and the club is continuing to work to ensure that such incidents do not happen again in the future. We thank the fans, the league management, and all interested parties for their understanding and support,” noted the management of HC "Beybaris."
It was previously reported that the Kazakhstan Hockey Federation also reacted to the incident involving a fight between players from "Beybaris" and "Arlan" in Atyrau—disciplinary sanctions and penalties were imposed on 12 individuals, including the head coach of "Beybaris."
The program “Head First into the Ice” managed to contact the doctors of HC "Arlan" to learn about the health condition of defender Ruslan Ibraev, who was on the ground during the fight and received several kicks.
According to the specialists, the hockey player sustained several kicks to the back of the head. He has bruises and abrasions on the occipital area. The player refused hospitalization yesterday; today the team flew to Astana and is heading to Kokshetau, where the athlete will undergo a more thorough medical examination.
The exact cause of this conflict and what triggered it remains unclear.
