Kazakhstani tennis player Beibit Zhukaev secured his first victory in the doubles category at a Challenger series tournament, reports Caravan.kz.
In Manama (Bahrain), he and Ukrainian Vitaliy Sachko triumphed in the final against the duo Ivan Lyutarevich (Belarus) / Luc Sanchez (France) with a score of 6:4, 6:0. The match lasted only 36 minutes.
This is a significant achievement for Zhukaev. Previously, he had won in doubles at ITF M25 tournaments in Egypt and Astana.
Meanwhile, world number one Jannik Sinner has been suspended from competitions for three months due to a violation of anti-doping rules.
