On the last day of the tournament, only the men's hockey team will be vying for gold. Therefore, in the best-case scenario, Kazakhstan will win just four gold medals at this Asian Games — which would be its lowest result compared to previous tournaments.
The best achievement for Kazakhstan at the Asian Games occurred in 2011 when athletes won 32 gold medals at the home tournament.
