Receiving temporary recognition from the IOC is an important achievement and demonstrates that our sport is on the right track. This decision brings us one step closer to our main goal — preserving boxing in the Olympic Games. I am pleased that through the continuous efforts of all those who support World Boxing, we have managed to achieve this result. Establishing an International Federation based on principles of integrity and impartiality is our shared mission for future generations of athletes and future champions. We still have much to do to achieve all our goals, so we will not rest on our laurels, - stated Gennady Golovkin.
