The President of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan, Gennady Golovkin, along with several NOC staff members, has taken positions within the structure of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), reports Caravan.kz.
According to the press service of the NOC of Kazakhstan, Golovkin has been appointed as a member of the Sports Committee, while Secretary General Alimzhan Akayev has joined the Committee on International Relations.
The Director of the PR and Marketing Department, Gulnaz Shukenova, has become a member of the Media and Communications Committee, and the Chief Manager of the Sports Department, Roman Temirzhanov, has been appointed to the Committee on Information and Statistics.
Additionally, the Director of the Regional Anti-Doping Organization for Central Asia (RADOCA), Venera Abdulla, has been appointed as a member of the Anti-Doping Commission. It is noteworthy that the updated composition of the OCA Committees will remain in effect until 2028.
