UWW President Nenad Lalovic will personally oversee the matches of Aitmukhan and Daulbekov.

The President of the United World Wrestling (UWW) and IOC member, Nenad Lalovic, may become an honorary guest at the PWL8 wrestling tournament in Almaty, reports Caravan.kz.

According to our source, Nenad Lalovic will participate in the press conference for the PWL 8 tournament, as well as personally observe the matches featuring Kazakh wrestlers Rizabek Aitmukhan, Azamat Dauletbekov, and Madina Bakbergenova. Additionally, Lalovic will evaluate the bouts between other participants.

It is noteworthy that at the eighth tournament of the Professional Wrestling League, Rizabek Aitmukhan, the first world champion in freestyle wrestling in Kazakhstan's history, will compete against renowned American athlete Kyle Snyder, the Olympic champion (Rio 2016) and three-time world champion.

The captain of the Kazakh freestyle wrestling team, two-time world championship bronze medalist, and three-time Asian champion Azamat Dauletbekov will face off against Tokyo 2020 Olympic finalist Magomedkhabib Kadimagomedov, who represents Belarus. The decorated Kazakh female wrestler, a three-time Asian champion and finalist of the 2022 Asian Games, with four medals of various colors from world championships, Jamila Bakbergenova, will compete against her longstanding rival from Kyrgyzstan, Aiperi Medetkyzy. The latter boasts a victory at the Asian Games, two gold medals from Asian championships, as well as silver and bronze medals from world championships.
