Security measures in Paris will be intensified during the France-Israel match as part of the UEFA Nations League games. This will involve the deployment of 4,000 police officers, reports Euronews.
Of these, 2,500 will be stationed around the "Stade de France," while the remainder will maintain order throughout the city and in public transportation.
It is known that French President Emmanuel Macron plans to attend the game. He aims to show solidarity following the recent anti-Israel riots in the Netherlands.
On November 7, after the match between Tel Aviv's "Maccabi" and Amsterdam's "Ajax," pro-Palestinian activists attacked Israeli fans. Fortunately, there were no casualties. The police detained over a hundred instigators of the unrest at that time.
