Erbol Khamitov has become the world champion in paratriathlon.

This is reported by Caravan.kz, citing the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Yerbol Khamitov claimed victory in the individual 12.5 km race with a time of 35:29.01.

Second place went to Canadian Derek Zaplatonski (35:36.3), while third place was taken by American Aaron Pike (35:37.8).
