The head coach of the Kazakhstan national team, Russian Stanislav Cherchesov, commented on rumors regarding his potential resignation from this position, reports Caravan.kz.
According to "Total Football," Cherchesov stated that he never clings to a contract, but at the same time, he is not obliged to resign following the departure of Adlet Barmenkulov from the post of head of the KFF.
“We never cling to a contract. Our president has done a great job; I know what kind of person he is, how he worked and cared, and how much effort he put in. Everyone makes mistakes at times. I don't ask foolish questions; I am an adult. I don't know why he left. The most important thing is the quality of the decisions made. Regardless of our relationship, my contract is with the KFF, not with Adlet Nazarbaevich Barmenkulov. What if new leadership comes in? I don’t accept the word ‘if’ at all,” Cherchesov said.
Earlier, we reported on how Cherchesov is getting accustomed to the Kazakh language.
