Defender of Madrid's Atlético and the Argentina national team, Nahuel Molina, responded to the statement made by Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo, as reported by Caravan.kz.
Earlier, Ronaldo claimed that he is the best player in history, placing himself above Lionel Messi and Diego Maradona. Naturally, the compatriots of these footballers disagreed with Ronaldo.
“I have been watching Leo (Messi) since childhood, and I had the opportunity to share the field with him. In my opinion, you shouldn't say that you are the best; others should say that. I would never call myself the best at anything. Of course, in terms of my self-esteem, I consider myself the best, but I would never say anything like that. I have no doubt that Cristiano is a beast who loves to compete, a football beast. But whether or not he is truly the best in history, that’s something others should say. For me, the best is Leo,” said Molina in an interview with Mundo Deportivo.
Cristiano Ronaldo broke stereotypes about the World Cup.
