Almaty's "Kairat" graduate Dastan Satpaev, who signed a contract with London’s "Chelsea," has made it into the list of the 15 most expensive football players born in 2008, reports Caravan.kz.
According to the ranking compiled by Transfermarkt, the most valuable player born in 2008 is Italian Francesco Camarda from "Milan," whose value is estimated at 10 million euros.
In second place among the 2008 footballers by value is Ecuadorian Justin Lerma. The attacking midfielder currently plays for his hometown club "Independiente," but has already been signed by German "Borussia Dortmund" for a fee of 4 million euros. In third place is Italian Onest Ahanur, a left-back for "Genoa," valued at 3 million euros.
Kazakhstan's Dastan Satpaev ranks 13th on this list. The forward will remain with "Kairat" until he turns 18 (just like Lerma with "Independiente"), but he is already under contract with "Chelsea." Transfermarkt estimates Dastan's value at 500,000 euros but specifies that the transfer fee from "Kairat" to "Chelsea" could reach 2.4 million euros.
