According to the press service of Akorda, by a decree of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Erlan Kuanyshuly Abil has been relieved of his position as the rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Erlan Abil was born on September 18, 1973, in Zhezkazgan. He graduated from the Zhezkazgan Mining and Technology Institute in 1995. He holds a PhD in Economics and has been awarded the honorary badge "Білім беру ісінің құрметті қызметкері".
His career began as an assistant at the Department of "Economics and Management at Enterprises" at the Zhezkazgan Mining and Technology Institute. He had been the rector of the Academy since August 21, 2019.
By another decree, Azamat Sagatovich Zholmanov has been appointed as the rector of the Academy of Public Administration. It was also noted that he has been relieved of his previous position.
Azamat Zholmanov graduated from the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov with a degree in "International Relations" and also holds a master's degree from the Academy of Public Administration. He has over 10 years of experience in the field of public administration.
Since February 7, 2022, he held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Agency of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs. As of today, this position is now held by Alibek Akhmedyar.
