According to Akorda, the summit was attended by the President of Kazakhstan, as well as the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan (via videoconference), the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, and the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
"The event addressed key tasks and priority areas for further cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union. Summit participants exchanged views on current issues and specific practical aspects of the EAEU's activities," Akorda reported.
The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, arrived for a working visit to St. Petersburg on December 25. On the same day, he participated in an informal meeting of the heads of CIS states.
