Welcoming the guest, the head of state expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of Kazakh-Kyrgyz relations of strategic partnership and alliance, built on strong ties of friendship and good neighborliness.
"Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized the importance of fully implementing the previously reached high-level agreements, which are of a strategic nature and aim to significantly strengthen the intergovernmental relations of the two countries," the Akorda statement reads.
Jeyinbek Kulubayev informed the head of our state about the outcomes of the recent negotiations between the foreign policy heads of the two countries and the main directions for further joint work to deepen bilateral cooperation.
"During the meeting, priority was given to issues related to enhancing trade and economic interaction, developing transport and logistics infrastructure, stimulating mutual investments, and cultural and humanitarian ties," the press release notes.
There was also an exchange of views on current issues on the regional and international agenda.
Earlier, the president signed amendments regarding diplomatic service matters.
