Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received a report on the progress of implementing directives aimed at ensuring economic growth and enhancing social policy.

According to Olzhas Bektenov, the GDP growth from January to November of this year reached 4.4%. The economic growth this year is entirely supported by the development of the non-oil sector (5.1%). However, the failure to meet projected oil production levels has impacted the overall pace of economic development.

The head of state was informed that as a result of measures taken to support domestic producers and encourage deep processing, exports of processed goods have increased by 10.2%, totaling $23.3 billion. The import of goods has decreased by 3.3%.

The volume of investments in fixed capital has risen by 3.1%, with the largest growth also seen in non-resource sectors.

The President was presented with plans for further increasing business activity and enhancing efforts to improve the quality of life in the regions.

"In conclusion, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to continue efforts to enhance positive dynamics in manufacturing, agriculture, construction, and the transportation sector. A series of directives were issued regarding attracting investments, modernizing social and engineering infrastructure, import substitution, and ensuring control over the stability of prices for socially significant food products," the statement published on the Akorda website reads.
