According to a statement from Akorda, the head of state emphasized that Greece is a reliable partner of Kazakhstan within the European Union, noting that Athens ranks among the top five trading partners of Astana among EU countries.
Subsequently, Kyriakos Mitsotakis highlighted the vast potential for strengthening Kazakh-Greek cooperation and expressed readiness to expand collaboration across the entire spectrum of the bilateral agenda.
Furthermore, during the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing trade, economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian ties, while also emphasizing the importance of diversifying mutual trade. There was an exchange of views on energy development and the decarbonization of the economy.
The meeting participants reached an agreement to maintain an active political dialogue.
