According to data from Akorda, Timur Vladimirovich Primbetov has been appointed as the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Holy See, as well as ambassador to the Sovereign Military Order of St. John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta in a concurrent role.
Additionally, he has been relieved of his duties as ambassador to Mexico.

- Saginova Zhanna Niyazbekovna has been appointed as ambassador to Slovakia;
- Anuarbek Serikovich Akhmetov has been appointed as ambassador to Algeria.
By another decree from Tokayev, Kairat Asanizovich Sarzhanov has been relieved of his position as ambassador to the Vatican, Rhodes, and Malta.
Tolegezhan Tursunovich Barlybaev and Kairat Kairbekuly Lama Sharif are no longer ambassadors to Slovakia and Algeria, respectively.
It was previously reported that Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Ilham Aliyev, and Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed an agreement on strategic partnership in the field of production and transmission of green energy between Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan.
