Duyssenova Tamara Bosymbekovna was born on January 11, 1965. In 1987, she graduated from the Tashkent Institute of National Economy as an engineer-economist.
She began her career as a teacher at the Illich Secondary School in the city of Saryagash. Over the years, she has held roles as an economist and deputy akim of Shymkent.
From 2002 to 2006, she served as the Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection.
From 2013 to 2014, she headed the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
Afterward, she spent three years as the Minister of Health and Social Development.
From 2019 to 2020, she was a non-staff advisor to the President of Kazakhstan.
From 2020 to 2022, she served as the assistant to the President of Kazakhstan and head of the department overseeing the consideration of appeals at the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since June 8, 2023, she has been the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Minister of Labor and Social Protection.
On September 2, 2023, Duyssenova was relieved from her position as Minister of Labor. She was appointed as Deputy Prime Minister.
