Welcoming Pamela Harris, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated her on her election to this significant position and expressed confidence that her experience would provide a new impetus for the organization's activities.

The President emphasized that ensuring the rule of law and reforming the judicial system play a crucial role in building a legal state.

"We are undertaking extremely important reforms aimed at promoting Law and Order in Kazakhstan. We are convinced that the rule of law must be brought to life. I believe this is very important for ensuring the stability and prosperity of our country. Therefore, I look forward to further cooperation between the International Association and Kazakhstan and our judicial system," said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

For her part, the head of IACAA highly appreciated the legal reforms being implemented in our country and expressed readiness to continue collaboration.

According to her, the separation of functions between the Judicial Administration and the Supreme Court is one of the most effective solutions in global practice. Pamela Harris noted that the association aims to strengthen ties with Kazakhstan and also spoke about the active participation of representatives from the national judicial administration in the work of IACAA.

During the conversation, key aspects of reforming the justice system were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to enhancing cooperation between judicial bodies, the prospects for implementing digital solutions, and artificial intelligence in legal proceedings.

Earlier, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev replaced the rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and appointed a new deputy chairman of the ADGS.
