The Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Kamaleddin Heydarov, awarded a group of employees from the Emergency Situations Ministry of Kazakhstan who participated in the rescue operation following the crash on December 25, 2024, near the International Airport of Aktau. The aircraft, operated by Azerbaijan Airlines, was on the Baku – Grozny route.
