During the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev referred to Croatia as a reliable partner for Kazakhstan within the European Union.
"Taking the opportunity, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev invited his colleague to participate in the second International Astana Forum, which will take place next year. Andrej Plenković also suggested that the President of Kazakhstan visit Croatia," as stated in a message published on the Acorda Telegram channel.
It was also reported that the leaders of the two countries reviewed the status of bilateral relations, including in the areas of trade, economy, investment, and cultural-humanitarian exchanges.
As noted, the main focus of the discussions was on the implementation of joint investment projects in the energy sector.
The head of our state expressed support for Croatian companies operating in Kazakhstan. Additionally, the prospects for simplifying the visa regime were discussed.
Earlier, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with the President of North Macedonia, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova. The interlocutors paid special attention to the prospects for deepening cooperation in trade, economy, and investment, as well as simplifying the visa regime for citizens of both countries.
