The civil case was heard in the Zhalyn District Court.

"The plaintiff, B., worked in the collective farm 'P' in the Zhalyn district from 1985 to 1998 in various positions. When applying for documents, the Pension Payment Center denied him, citing an incorrect spelling of his surname in the employment record," the court's press service reported.

During the proceedings, the court noted the presence of an archival certificate that contained the man's details and the years he worked in the aforementioned collective farm.

The claim was granted, and the court recognized the employment record as belonging to the applicant.

The court's decision has not yet entered into legal force.

Previously, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Kazakhstan provided information about the pension amounts entitled to citizens who have retired.
