According to the city's emergency services, at 10:54, forces and resources were dispatched at a heightened fire alert to 5A Demyan Bedny Street, in the Turkibsy district.
"Upon arrival at 11:02, it was determined that construction materials were on fire in a two-story building. There was a risk of fire spreading. Fire hoses were deployed to protect neighboring structures and extinguish the fire. Safety equipment is in use due to the risk of collapse," reported the emergency services.
According to updated information, the fire occurred in a workshop containing components for assembling aluminum windows.
Measures taken have eliminated the threat of spreading to adjacent buildings. The fire was extinguished by 12:25.
The area affected by the fire was 200 square meters. Two individuals sought medical assistance and were transported to the hospital.
