According to police reports, the conflict arose due to a violation of traffic rules. One of the drivers pulled out a gun and began to threaten the other. The victim reported the incident to the police.
"Police stopped the offender's vehicle in the Zhashagan village. The driver was intoxicated and attempted to flee, but he was apprehended. A signal pistol was found in the car. The driver is facing criminal charges for illegal possession of a weapon, and administrative proceedings have been initiated on several counts," the statement said.
Previously, a deputy was arrested in the Karaganda region for threatening with a knife and a gun.
