The incident occurred in the village of Enbekshikazakh in the Kromtau district of the Aktobe region.
"In the night, the 112 emergency service received a report that three children with high fevers required urgent medical assistance. However, due to the raging blizzard, it was impossible for the ambulance to reach them," the emergency services press office reported.
A group of rescuers, accompanied by medical staff, set off to the scene in a TRÉKOL all-terrain vehicle, which is specially designed for operation in extreme conditions.
A one-year-old baby, along with four and five-year-old children, were swiftly transported to the central district hospital, where they are currently under medical supervision.
Previously, meteorologists warned Kazakhstanis that a storm warning had been issued for 16 regions of the country as of March 1.
