According to the Aktobe regional prosecutor's office, on December 8, 2024, a parking lot employee fatally attacked the camping administrator with a sharp object.
"A pre-trial investigation has been initiated under Part 1 of Article 99 of the Criminal Code 'Murder', and a procedural prosecutor has been appointed. On December 12, 2024, the criminal case was forwarded by the district prosecutor's office to the Specialized Interdistrict Court for Criminal Cases of the Aktobe Region for substantive consideration," the supervisory authority reported.
On January 16, 2025, the court found the defendant guilty and sentenced him to 11 years of imprisonment for committing a particularly serious crime.
The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
