As reported by "KTK", sanitary inspectors have already conducted checks in 200 stores across the Aktobe region. However, they did not specify how much suspicious product has been removed from the shelves.
According to the head of the regional department of sanitary-epidemiological control, Raihan Koishanova, products from three retail locations have been sent to the laboratory for microbiological and sanitary-chemical testing. The results of the analysis will be available in five to six days.
It is believed that Chinese snacks are the cause of the mass poisoning in the village of Kobda. A whole class of 23 students fell ill from the taste and even the smell of the questionable snack. As a result, the fourth-grade students were hospitalized with signs of poisoning. It turned out that the snacks were sold in a store without the necessary permits.
In the near future, the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan will propose horse meat, zhent, and healthy yogurts in a new menu for schoolchildren.
