A video of an incident that occurred on January 15 at approximately 5:30 AM has gone viral on social media. The footage shows a man with his shirt off hitting the hood of someone else's car with a belt.
The police in Almaty commented on the situation, clarifying that the 28-year-old man was under the influence of alcohol.
"The offender was apprehended by patrol officers and taken to the Almalinsky District Police Department. He is being charged with petty hooliganism and being in a public place while intoxicated. The case materials have been forwarded to the court for a decision," the police department reported.
Meanwhile, in Kostanay, a bus driver was transporting passengers while intoxicated.
