Details of the incident were provided by the press service of the city police department.
It was clarified that an operative officer of the Medeu District Police Department sustained a knife wound during a conflict. The tragedy occurred while the man was off duty.
"The suspect has been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. A criminal case has been initiated. At the same time, an internal investigation is being conducted," the department reported.
