As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan, firefighters who arrived at the scene promptly began cooling a 20-ton gasoline tank to prevent a potential explosion due to high temperatures. The fire, covering an area of 360 sq.m, was successfully extinguished.
As a result of the incident, a gas station employee born in 1991 sustained injuries and was hospitalized in moderate condition.
