Unable to control the vehicle, it first mounted the sidewalk and then crashed into a snowdrift. However, this barrier did not stop it. It then knocked down the gates of a construction store and, after colliding with a streetlight pole, became lodged on it.

Fortunately, there were no pedestrians in its path. The driver also emerged unscathed.

Police apprehended him, and it was later revealed that this car did not belong to him. Preliminary reports indicated that the car's owner had entered the store for shopping, while allegedly a neighbor took the wheel of his vehicle and drove off.

The man was taken for a medical examination to determine his level of alcohol intoxication. It was also discovered at the scene that the vehicle's owner was presumably inebriated. Upon inspecting the car, a discarded vodka bottle was found on the back seat.

Currently, police and forensic experts are on the scene, tasked with determining their relationship and whether alcohol was consumed by them.
Additionally, a mass traffic accident occurred in Almaty on February 13.
