The court has handed down actual sentences to two individuals involved in the case. They were sentenced to six years and eight months in a penal colony. The third individual received a year of restricted freedom. Additionally, the court ordered the legal representatives of the convicted to pay moral damages to the parents of the murdered boy, as reported by KTK.
However, the relatives of the deceased believe that the punishment for all those involved in the crime is far too lenient.
"They killed my son. He was only 14 years old. I believe they were unfairly given very light sentences. One of them received just a year of restriction. Why? At the end of April this year, it will be a year since our son is gone. So it turns out that his sentence has already expired. They beat my son three against one! We will be filing an appeal and demanding harsher penalties for all," said Raushan Kudasova.
It is worth noting that the director and two deputy directors of the school, who have already been dismissed, are accused of negligence. They allegedly knew about the school group and the beatings but did nothing. No decision has yet been made regarding these cases.
It was previously reported that the Specialized Interdistrict Court for Juvenile Affairs in the Zhambyl region examined the case against three minors accused of hooliganism and intentionally causing serious harm to health resulting in death on January 14.
