According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, rescuers are working at the scene with an elevated response level.
"The fire has been localized. According to updated information, a fire is occurring on the roof of a warehouse containing sunflower seed cake at the grain processing company. Efforts are underway to dismantle and extinguish the flames," the ministry reported.
No casualties or injuries have been reported.
It was previously reported that a fire was extinguished in the territory of the Saryarka shopping center in Astana.
