The Almaty International Airport has responded to the video.
"The contractor was conducting work on the installation of a backup water supply pipeline between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. On February 22, during a test run of the system, a rupture occurred at one of the pipeline connections, resulting in a brief water leak in the waiting area of Terminal 2," representatives of the airport told Zakon.kz.
It was noted that the situation was promptly brought under control, and the consequences of the incident were resolved in a timely manner.
"This incident did not affect the airport's operations and did not pose a threat to the safety of passengers and staff. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. Corporate Communications Department," the company stated.
It was previously reported that a pet area will be created at Almaty Airport.
