In the East Kazakhstan region, two phytolaboratories intended for the cultivation of narcotic plants have been discovered.

During searches in the apartments of a 57-year-old and a 35-year-old resident of the region, police discovered equipped grow labs. One of these was located in a closet and was fitted with LED lamps, a ventilation system, and filtration, while the other was a thermal box.

"Cannabis plants, devices for their cultivation, and packages containing plant-based substances were seized. The total weight of the prohibited substance amounted to over 570 grams. Criminal cases have been initiated based on these facts. The police continue their active efforts to identify and suppress drug-related crimes and urge citizens to report such violations. Only through joint efforts can we combat the spread of drugs and ensure the safety of society," the police stated.

Earlier, police found a drug dealer through social media with drugs worth 30 million tenge.
