The ages of the detainees range from 30 to 35 years, as noted by the region's operatives.
"Currently, two victims have been identified. In one case, the criminals stole 18 horses from a pasture, causing damage amounting to nine million tenge. In the second case, five livestock were stolen from a peasant farm, valued at four million tenge."
Criminal cases have been registered regarding these incidents, and an investigation is underway.
All detainees are being held in custody under court sanction, and their involvement in other similar crimes is being examined.
Additionally, police officers urge residents of the region to take measures to protect their property.
"Livestock owners are advised to organize enhanced security, install video surveillance, or hire shepherds to minimize the risk of such incidents," recommend the law enforcement agencies.
Earlier, on January 15, cattle were forcibly sent for slaughter in the Kostanay region.
