Fourteen people were urgently evacuated from a house in Almaty.
On January 18, in the Kairat neighborhood of the Turksib district in Almaty, personal belongings and furniture caught fire in an apartment located on the seventh floor of a ten-story residential building.

Emergency services evacuated 14 residents from the building via the stairwell.
"The fire has been extinguished over an area of 20 square meters. There are no casualties. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation," the ministry reported.
It was previously reported that the fire broke out at a fitness center in Astana.
