1. Pensions to Increase in Kazakhstan in 2025

Starting in 2025, pensions and mandatory pension contributions will be increased in the country. Specifically, from January 1, age and seniority payments will rise by 8.5 percent, while basic pensions will be adjusted based on the change in the minimum subsistence level. The minimum pension will amount to 95,131 tenge, and the maximum will be 213,046 tenge. This increase will affect all 2.4 million pensioners.

10. Almaty Residents Surprised by Double Curb

However, the city's akimat explained that work is being carried out on the main street of the Bostandyk district along Zharokov Street from Abay Avenue to Al-Farabi Avenue to organize a technical sidewalk on both sides of the street.
