The United States Vice President JD Vance stated that Ukraine cannot defeat Russia due to its significant numerical advantage and the depletion of European arms supplies, as reported by Tengrinews.kz, referencing Deutsche Welle.
He shared on social media platform X that for three years he and President Donald Trump have presented "two simple arguments" regarding the war in Ukraine.
"First, the war wouldn't have started if President Trump were in office; second, neither Europe, nor the administration of (former President Joe - ed.) Biden, nor the Ukrainians had any path to victory. This was true three years ago, it was true two years ago, it was true last year, and it is true today," Vance asserts.
According to him, Trump "deals with reality, meaning facts" concerning Ukraine. Among these, the U.S. Vice President highlighted the domestic policies of America's Western European allies regarding migration and censorship, which "offend the feelings of the majority of Americans," as well as the defense policy that "allows for a constant excessive dependency."
"Secondly, the Russians have a massive numerical advantage in manpower and armaments in Ukraine, and this advantage will persist regardless of further aid packages from the West. Again, aid is currently being delivered," the Vice President noted.
Vance also pointed out that the U.S. retains significant leverage over both sides of the conflict. He believes that to end the war in Ukraine, one must "talk to the people involved in its initiation and support."
"We believe that a prolonged confrontation is bad for Russia, bad for Ukraine, and bad for Europe. But most importantly, it is bad for the United States," the politician wrote.
Summarizing his statements, he emphasized that given the facts presented, "we must strive for peace, and we must do it now." Trump won with this in the elections and "is right about this," Vance added.
This is moralistic garbage, which is unfortunately the rhetorical currency of the globalists because they have nothing else to say.

Earlier, the U.S. Vice President warned Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky against public attacks on the American president, stating that this would only lead to the opposite result.
Recall that on Thursday, Trump's national security advisor Mike Waltz stated that Kyiv needs to tone down its criticism and sign an agreement on rare earth metals, which the U.S. president insists upon.
