The news of the actress's death was announced by the Association of Polish Theater Actors.
The artist died on January 11, shortly before her 89th birthday. No further details have been disclosed.
Barbara Rylska was an actress in theater, film, and television, as well as a singer, and she was often referred to as the "Polish Marlene Dietrich."
Rylska was born on January 20, 1936, in Warsaw. She appeared in numerous films and was closely associated with the "Kwadrat" theater.
