Kassym-Jomart Tokayev explained the introduction of the position of First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration during a meeting with Darkhan Satybaldy, as reported by Tengrinews.kz citing the Akorda press service.
"The Head of State noted that the position of First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration is being introduced to enhance management processes and regional cooperation, strengthen oversight of the implementation of decisions and his directives at the local level, as well as improve the quality of measures taken and bolster citizens' trust in state institutions," the statement said.
As noted by Akorda, Darkhan Satybaldy has been assigned key tasks to fulfill in his new position.

On January 6, Darkhan Satybaldy was appointed the First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration. Previously, he served as the akim of Turkestan region.

The new akim of Turkestan region is Nuralkhan Kushev, who held the position of deputy akim of the region since January 2023.
It should be noted that the last person to hold the position of First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration was Timur Suleimenov (now the head of the National Bank). Subsequently, changes occurred in the structure, leading to the abolition of several positions.
