"The woman in the police uniform exhibited behavior unworthy of an officer, undermining the authority of the law enforcement agency. The social media user has been identified. She turned out to be a 24-year-old citizen with no affiliation to the police," the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated.
For the illegal wearing of a police uniform, an administrative protocol has been drawn up against the offender. The uniform has been confiscated.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs warned that wearing (using) clothing with distinguishing marks and/or military insignia, as well as official uniforms and special gear, constitutes an offense and results in a fine along with the confiscation of the uniform.
As a reminder, earlier in Kostanay, a drunken man crashed into a barrier and then filmed the aftermath of the accident, posting it on TikTok. At that time, police indicated that for gross violations of traffic rules, he faced administrative arrest for up to 15 days and a suspension of his driving rights for 7 years.
